We sent two teams, (over 40s and over 55s), to the 2nd annual EuroCopa tournament in the Algarve in March. Although the weather was unkind, resulting in a much truncated competition, our over 55s took third place, bringing home silverware.
The over 40s came fourth in their group, losing in the quarter-finals to subsequent champions, Nottingham Forest.
The standard of the teams taking part was excellent, and both teams performed extremely well in their respective competitions.
