Rules of the game
There are several rules of the game as issued by the various walking football associations. For all our internal matches, we have adopted the FA Laws of Walking Football and these are outlined in our 1874 Northwich Walking Football Rules. These are subject to change, as new rules are introduced by the FA.
If we are playing in tournaments, then the rules of that particular competition apply.

Standards of Behaviour
1874 Northwich FC endorses the FA’s respect campaign throughout all aspects of the Club. As a result, we have adopted the respect codes of conduct and adapted them for Walking Football. We review these against any revised or updated statements issued by the FA and will make changes to the code as appropriate.
The current code of conduct is referenced below. All players are expected to follow the code as a condition of membership of the group.
Affiliations
We are affiliated to the FA via Cheshire FA. As part of this affiliation we have insurance to cover our training / recreational games and for any teams playing in FA competitions.
We are also affiliated to the Walking Football Association, which enables our teams to play in WFA competitions. We are covered by the WFA insurance for these competitions.
