With the departure date for Louise Smith’s trek across the Sahara getting ever closer, the 1874 Northwich Community team invited her and other walking footballers to attend the home match against Studley FC on the 4th October . It was an opportunity for Louise to share details of her walk and the charity that she is supporting, with the 1874 fans and to receive a donation of £100 from the 1874 Northwich Community Fund.
The donation was presented by Karen, Georgia and Tom Halvorsen, the family of 1874 Northwich supporter and ex-Board member, Gary Halvorsen, who sadly passed away in July 2025.
Thank you to the community team for arranging the day, the donations from fans on the day and to the first team for the 4-1 win……….
